Tomorrow's Inquirer

Good people, you are hereby invited to purchase a copy of tomorrow's (Sunday's) Philadelphia Inquirer, in which the Brian Hickey byline makes an appearance. After reading the New York Times Magazine piece about how the Inky/DN struggles may end with Philly being the only major city without a daily, I shan't post a link. (At least not till later.) Paper people need your help, paper readers past and present.
Note to NYT Mag: Even without the Inky or DN, the city would still have a weekday daily in the Metro (for whom I pen a column every Wednesday), two big weekly papers and a litany of community papers. That said, your direness angle still holds up, nonetheless. (And not just because if the DN goes down and out, the paper I wanted to write for back in high school would be the only one I haven't. Ironic, I guess.)
*The second reason to buy the Inky tomorrow? Well, they have a column about how Corey Kemp feels about Vinnie Fumo's sentence. Want a preview? This is from a week ago.
Holla.

if the Inquirer wanted me to purchase their paper they would stop supporting torturing people to death by keeping Yoo on staff. i read a couple newspapers every day, but the Inquirer is no longer one of them.

Fair enough. But, for what it's worth, I support torture, but only in two cases: for Cheney and Yoo.

I just read your article in the sunday paper about hit and run penalties. I'd like to talk with you about it...I'm the mother of Peter Roberto, Jr who was killed by a hit and run drunk driver on Nov 25, 2005. Is there a way for me to reach you? I don't see an email address on philly.com for you?
