New England -13.5 At NY Giants UNDER 46.5
Well, things looked really nice on the spread this week, with an 11-5 tally. But then, so go the odds: a 5-11 on the o/u, resulting in a 16-16 slate. Which is fitting, again, considering the fantasy consolation win leaving me in a break-even 3rd place finish in my first-ever fantasy-football appearance. Again, so goes my break-even life.

As if seeing the Eagles and Broncos get eliminated, and losing in the fantasy semis, weren't indignities enough, I went and put up a rousing 12-21 tally in the week 15 games. All of which means to break even on the year, I'll have to go 28-4 in 16 and 17. Not likely. But in any event, here are the latest team-by-team tallies. There's one team that you'd be well-served to heed, obviously.
Denver -2 At Houston OVER 47
Creeping back into this thang with an 18-12 week, coupled with a big first-round fantasy win courtesy of the Hon. Marques Colston.

Asked about how [ill-timed guarantee-speaker Anthony] Smith was tricked into allowing a long touchdown catch by Jabar Gaffney on a gadget play, Belichick said, "The safety play at that position was pretty inviting."
Give Belichick five yards for piling on.
Even worse for the Steelers: The trick play, which began with Brady flipping the ball to Randy Moss behind the line of scrimmage before getting it back to throw downfield, was a mirror image of one Pittsburgh ran while beating the Bengals 31-17 in a playoff game two years ago.
Losing to the Patriots was bad enough for the Steelers. Losing on their own play made it even worse.
At Jacksonville -10.5 Carolina UNDER 38
